‘Pejman’ star shining in ‘Frankenstein’ in Tehran

Pejman Jamshidi, star of ifilm’s ‘Pejman’ has been shining in ‘Frankenstein’ play in Tehran.

Written and directed by Iman Afsharian, the play, currently on stage at Tehran's City Theater, is an adaptation of the famous novel ‘Frankenstein’.

‘Frankenstein’, or The Modern Prometheus, is a novel written by English author Mary Shelley that tells the story of Victor Frankenstein, a young scientist who creates a hideous sapient creature in an unorthodox scientific experiment.

Besides Jamshidi, most notable among the play’s stars are Banipal Shomoun, Anahita Afshar, Soudeh Sharhi, Mohammad Pouya, and Siavash Miri.
